Security is a key function within any operation and at Value we have our own National Loss Control Department which assists with the prevention of theft or loss of stock on a national scale. Value controls all of its own depots and has stringent procedures in place to ensure the highest level of stock control and minimise the risk of loss or theft.

Value will ensure that a full site assessment is carried out at all new warehouses as part of its projects and an extensive report is drawn up on the findings. The site assessment report will be analysed and checked in accordance with Value and your security requirements.

Any changes and / or additional security measures which may be required will then be acted upon and Value will ensure that the warehouse is secure. Security cameras are installed at all receiving and dispatch bays, in high value areas as well as at packing stations of smaller items such as the packing into stock boxes.

Value has achieved the TAPA FSR (Transported Asset Protection Association, Freight Security Requirements) Type A certification at its Value City and Clayville sites, which means that Value meets the highest international requirements of TAPA FSR as audited by TUV Rheinland, an accredited certification body. The Transported Asset Protection Association, TAPA, is a unique forum that unites global manufacturers, logistics providers, freight carriers, law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders with the common aim of reducing losses from international supply chains.
